Role description
We are looking for a hands-on, practical team member to help us run in-house synthesis and testing of our electrocatalysts and building and assembling new electrochemical test setups on a part-time basis (8-20 hours/week). If you’re someone who likes working with your hands, has a scientific mindset, and takes pride in scientifically approaching tasks within the green hydrogen sector, this is the role for you.
You will work closely with chemical process engineers to test, analyze and document electrocatalysts and help design and build novel alkaline electrolyser test setups.
As junior lab technician you will be involved in the following aspects of our work:
Preparing and setting up experimental rigs.
Synthesis of electrocatalysts
Testing, analysis and recording of performance data of our electrocatalysts are a daily routine.
Hands-on development of new test setups.
Profile
You are studying for a technical bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in chemical engineering, or you have an equivalent form of technical or scientific education.
Experience from following is considered an asset:
Hands-on laboratory experience within a relevant field, i.e. (electro)chemical environment, pressurised systems or material science
Electrocatalyst synthesis experience
Performing experimental campaigns with three-electrode setups
Lab software programming experience
Fluent English is a must.
The contract is limited to 3 months but may be extended.
Place of work is Malmö, Sweden.
